This 348 has always been maintained by the Ferrari dealer in Dallas Texas or Greensboro North Carolina and will have a fresh engine out service (cam belt, tensioners, seals, etc.) good for the next 15,000 miles when you pick it up at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC.

It was a one owner car when I bought it and I've driven it less than 3000 miles.

Before taking possession I had the Ferrari dealer  (in Dallas/Plano) do the 45K service (and some other things like new brake pads, etc.) over 2000 miles ahead of schedule since we have no Ferrari dealer in South Carolina.  Even though that was only 3000 miles ago I'm having another engine out service and cam belt replacement done before the new owner takes delivery because of the time that has elapsed. This service also included refinishing the valve covers (see picture below).

It had a new clutch installed by the previous owner about 800 miles before I bought it (I have the service records) so this 348 is vastly superior to one that hasn't been maintained.

I have two soft flannel type car covers - gray with embroidered Ferrari logo attached - so I always have a clean one while the other is being washed. They will go with it.

I recently replaced the floor mats (carpet) and have a new set of  windshield wiper arms with blades that I bought at the Ferrari dealership in Orlando but have not installed.

I have the original owners manual (in leather carrier) and I also bought a copy of the service manual - two thick volumes that are a copy of an original - which includes all the schematics, diagrams, etc. I also have the leather tool carrier but do not have Ferrari luggage which the seller kept.

If you are aware that most 348's have a problem that eventually causes the interior painted surfaces (door handles to steering column shrouds to vents in the dash) to turn to a sticky black tar-like substance, you will be relieved to know that has already occurred and been corrected by removing and repainting those parts so you won't be facing that.

Other repairs done within the last year include replacing the fuel injectors, intake gaskets, heat shields, a coolant hose, spark plug wires and several wiring harnesses. This was caused by a rodent "gnawing" all those parts so those are all "brand new" in addition to the engine out service.
